Obituary for Nick Stefko Nick Stefko, age 89, of Willowick, passed away December 31, 2018. He was born in Elmora, PA, on December 1, 1929, to the late Nick and Eva Stefko. He was a cherished and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Nick proudly served in the Army during the Korean War and was also a lifetime member of the American Legion-Willowick and the VFW-Spangler, PA. Nick was a devout Catholic, member and usher at St. Mary Magdalene Church. He was also a member of the St. Vincent DePaul Society.

He retired from National Acme after 25 years and the Willowick Fire Dept. after 29 years of dedicated service. He enjoyed hunting, gardening and watching the Browns.

Above all his greatest joy was his family, especially his grandchildren. Nick is survived by his devoted wife of 67 years, Mary Stefko (nee Schrenkel), children Diane (Paul) McKenna, David Stefko, Daniel (Patricia) Stefko, Dennis (Kimberly) Stefko and Douglas (Debra) Stefko, 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 10 siblings.

Visitation will be on Sunday, January 6, 2019 from 2 to 6pm at the Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd. , Eastlake. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, January 7, 2019 at 10:30am at St. Mary Magdalene Church, 32114 Vine St, Willowick.
