Nicolette June Cargle, age 46 unexpectedly passed away April 29, 2019 at her home in Louisville, KY due to pulmonary blood clots. She was born in Louisville, KY on March 20, 1973 to Horace and Margaret Douglas Cargle. As a child, Nicolette was christened at Talbert Chapel United Methodist Church in Hardinsburg, KY and later in life, she professed her faith in Jesus Christ and was baptized at Shiloh Baptist Church in Louisville, KY.

She graduated from Breckinridge County High School in 1991 and continued her education at the University of Louisville where she graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She furthered her education at Webster University and completed her Masters degree in Business Administration in 2003 from the School of Business and Technology. She was employed by Global Payment, Inc. in Indiana as a customer advocate for over 5 years.

Nicolette was our beloved daughter, sister, auntie “NeNe”, godmother and niece. She was passionate and committed to her family. She was a daughter who made sure she knew the dates and times of her parents’ doctor’s appointments and she escorted them to and fro.

She made schedules for the sisters to provide support to our parents weekly. She loved and supported her nieces, great nieces and nephew when there was a need. Nicolette loved to barbecue for the family during the summer.

She was very passionate about family gatherings like Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, holidays and especially Christmas. She was very meticulous in decorating the family’s Christmas tree for all to see and enjoy. She was known for baking the most delicious cakes, especially caramel pound, jam, chocolate and coconut.

She loved any positive activities that would bring the family closer and more time spent together. Nicolette is survived by her parents Horace and Margaret Cargle of Hardinsburg, KY sisters Doreen Bland (Gary) of Gentryville, IN Charlene Dunn of New Albany, IN Rena Drummond of Leitchfield, KY Teresa Cargle of Louisville, KY nieces Cecile Cargle and Charlotte Goins (Tim) goddaughter/great niece Kayelah Ross great nieces and nephew Keaira and Kamaria Page, Cheyanne, Sanaa and Serenity Ross, Simeon and Genesis Goins many aunts, uncles and cousins Nicolette was preceded in death by brothers Horace “Buster” Cargle, Jr., Charles Cargle and Harry Cargle nephew Timothy Lamar Dunn grandparents, aunts and uncles Funeral services will be held at Talbert Chapel United Methodist Church 312 East Second Street Hardinsburg, KY 40143 on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 1 PM with visitation beginning at 11 AM Saturday. Burial will be in the Hardinsburg Cemetery under the direction of Trent-Dowell Funeral Home.
