Nina’s Obituary Nina Hatcher Moore Nina Bell Hatcher Moore, 87, of Rockingham passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Hospice Haven. She was born on August 10, 1931 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Ellis Hatcher and Sallie Mae Griffin Hatcher. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Moore, a son, Richard Moore(May 11, 2019), a grandson, Brian Moore; and siblings, Hazel Hunter, Corina Tallent, Easter Merritt, Hester Russell and Miles Standish Hatcher.

She was a member of Cartledge Creek Baptist Church, she loved gardening, especially her flowers. She would wish to be remembered as a very kind person and a good cook. Surviving are her son, Ronald Moore(Wanda), daughter Cindy Strickland(John); grandchildren, David Moore, Brandon Moore, Ryan Moore, Audra O’Rourke(Brendan); great-grandchildren, Summer Moore, Brian Moore Henry O’Rourke; and her brothers, Dalton Hatcher(Becky) and Ellis Hatcher Jr.(Beth).

Funeral service will be on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 11:00 am at Cartledge Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Jason Lutz and Pastor Douglas Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in Ellerbe Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at the church prior to the service.
