Obituary for Nola Fay Kligman Nola “Fay” Kligman, born on September 25, 1927 in Jacksboro, Texas, passed away Thursday, December 13, 2018 in El Paso, Texas. The youngest of five siblings, Fay grew up in Mineral Wells, Texas. She met her husband, Sidney, in Lubbock where she worked as a bookkeeper for an oil company.

Soon after having children, she and her young family moved throughout the South before settling in El Paso in 1960. They eventually took ownership of Sheldon Jewelry where she became a mainstay on the sales floor guiding customers on the perfect selection of jewelry. And who could doubt her?

She had the southern charm and timeless style second-to-none. Beyond work, she and her late husband shared a full life traveling worldwide with friends and family. Yet, her children and their families were her greatest pleasures.

In her later years she moved to Legacy of Cimarron where she won virtual bowling tournaments, mastered in crafting and gained a reputation as the Rummikub champ. She is survived by her children: Gregory (Susanne) Kligman and Peggy (Stephen) Kligman-Haynes; grandchildren: Stephanie (Jon) Lasell, Davi (Mike) Williams, Sarah Kligman, and Samuel Kligman; great-grandchildren: Preston Lasell, Pierce Lasell, Jon Lasell, III and Layla Jimenez; sister-in-law, Margaret Martin and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Sidney; parents, William and Doshie Martin; siblings: Lee (Stella) Thomas, Mary (Ray) Goad, Lloyd (Ditty) Martin, and James Martin.
