Nolan Volkmann, 20, of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, passed away on Friday, April 13, 2018. He was born August 4, 1997 in Cincinnati, Ohio, son of Douglas Volkmann and Anne (Hermes) Volkmann. Nolan was an avid artist.

He enjoyed skateboarding, skiing, guitar, and soccer. He worked for his families business, About Space Storage. He is survived by his father, Douglas Volkmann; mother, Anne (Frank Laske) Volkmann; brother, Gavin Volkmann; sister, Mia Volkmann; maternal grandmother, Carole Hermes, 2 uncles, Erik (Melissa) Hermes, Tyson (Julie) Hermes, Aunt, Krista Werbil; and several cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ron and Lois Volkmann; aunt, Susan Volkmann; and his maternal grandfather, Rudolf Hermes. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Friday, April 20, 2018 from 5 pm to 8 pm at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home, 455 Ridge Avenue, Greendale, Indiana 47025. Casual dress is recommended.
