Obituary for Nolen Howard Chambless Print Nolen Howard Chambless, 70, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 12, 2019. He was born January 10, 1949, in Mangum, Oklahoma, to Cecil Chambless and Viva Downs Chambless. He enjoyed drafting and worked for the Oklahoma Highway Department before relocating to East Texas, where he was the owner and operator of Landmark Steel Buildings.

He later received a degree in Substance Abuse Counseling and worked in the Texas prison system counseling inmates. Nolen was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Herschel, Alvin, Pud, Jacky, and Gary Chambless; sisters, Colleen, Norma Lee, Doris, and JoAnn. Survivors include his wife, Ann Hefner Chambless; children, Jalen Chambless Waltman of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Joe Austin Chambless of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Marcella Kendall of Pine Bluff, Matthew Willoughby of Plano, Texas; a sister, Fern Chambless and a brother, Patrick Chambless both of Wagoner, Oklahoma; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
