Nona Ree Ash, 75, passed May 6, 2019 at Gracedale Nursing Home. She went peacefully with an abundant amount of love from her family. She was born in Lyons, Georgia to her mother, Alma McCray and her father, the late Harry Camon, Sr. Nona received her education through the Flemington, New Jersey Elementary School System, Rahway, New Jersey Middle School System and Easton Area High School.

Nona was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church. She was a member of the Flower Club. She loved to cook and ride the LANTA bus around Easton going shopping.

She was also known by many for her cheesecakes. Nona was a loving and caring person who loved her family dearly, especially the “little ones”. To have known Nona was to love her.

She will never be forgotten. She leaves behind to cherish her memory: sons, Michael and Scott of Allentown, PA; grandson, Derek of York, PA; mother, Alma McCray of Easton; brothers, Alfonzia Camon (Retha) of Piscataway, NJ, James McCray of Laurel, MD and Horace McCray (Karen) of Bethlehem, PA; nieces, Sheila Coleman, Meshelda McCray, Tonya Moye and Kaithin McCray; nephews, Kevin Camon, Tony Adams, James Leonard McCray and Jason Godfrey; and a host of great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Nona was preceded in death by her daughter, Michelle Antoinette Ashe who passed on February 11, 2019; sisters, Carrie Still and Diane Camon; and brother, Harry Camon, Jr. Nona Ree Ash, 75, passed May 6, 2019 at Gracedale Nursing Home.
