Nona Sue Faria, (Cookie) age 73, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2019. She was born October 08, 1945 in Dothan, Alabama to the late Vane and Inez Hyatt, sister Whynell Hyatt. She married Michael Nelson Faria on September 9, 1967 at MacDill Airforce Base, Tampa, Florida.

Nona is survived by her loving husband Michael Faria of 51 years, her daughter Elizabeth C. Allen (Faria) and husband Victor V. Allen, Jr., daughter Melissa C. Allen, son Nathan C. Faria and wife Susan E. Faria, chidlren Lauren E. Faria and Evan C. Faria, in law’s Thomas Medeiros and Melissa Medeiros (Faria), Aunt Louise Hyatt, cousins Gwen Hyatt, Karen Hyatt, and Sharon Hornsby (Hyatt). All of these she loved and touched deeply. She loved being “Nana Cookie” to her grandchildren.
