OBITUARY Nonnie Fox Engleman October 6, 1930 – July 15, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Nonnie Louise Fox Engleman, formerly of Mt. Sidney, VA passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at the age of 87. Nonnie was born on October 6, 1930 to Tally and Reno Fox of Granite Falls, NC.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of more than 30 years, Graham Engleman. Nonnie is survived by her-daughter, Cathy Roberts Leach of Williamsburg, VA and her husband Skip Leach; her grandchildren Sean Leach and his wife Kate, Amber Spivey and her husband Paul, and Heather Carrington and her husband Mark; her great-grandchildren Ashland, Christian, Garrett, Rissa, Emma and Bennett; and her brother Steve Allen Fox and his wife Nira. Nonnie grew up on a farm in Granite Falls, NC outside of Hickory where she attended Dudley Shoals Elementary and Oak Hill High School.

She never missed a day of school in twelve years. After raising her daughter, Cathy, Nonnie met and married the love of her life, Graham. With their mutual love of horses and her passion for retail, they founded and ran Ingleside Western Wear, a successful tack shop in Mt.

Sidney, VA. During their marriage, Graham and Nonnie enjoyed dancing, traveling and participating in various trade shows, state fairs and other venues. They shared many wonderful years and memories together.

In her latter years, Nonnie relocated to Williamsburg, VA where she shared lots of love and laughter with her daughter, son-in-law, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nonnie was loved immensely and will be missed by her family. A graveside service for Nonnie will be held at Bethlehem Baptist Church at 7500 NC Highway 127 in Taylorsville, N.C., at 5 pm on Saturday, July 21.

Dr. Wayne Caviness will be presiding. Family and friends are invited to attend. FAMILY She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of more than 30 years, Graham Engleman.
