Obituary for Norine Stampahar Norine Nolte Stampahar, 85, of O’Hara Twp, passed away with her loving family by her side early Christmas morning. Norine was born in Lawrenceville, PA on May 27, 1933 but lived most of her life in O’Hara Township. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; her parents, Charles and Catherine Nolte; her sister, Dolores Fazio; and her daughter, Laurie McClaran.

Norine is survived by her children, Paul Stampahar, Shelley (Walter) Stoecklein, Sharon (Thomas) DeBlois, and Scott Stampahar; her son-in law, George “Mac” McClaran; her grandchildren, Jessica (Richard) DeFelice, Meredith and Katherine Stoecklein, Tyler, Matthew and Nicole DeBlois, Jayme and Macy McClaran; her great grandson, Richard “Tripp” DeFelice; and her sister, Claudia Broderick. Norine was a “jack of all trades” and wore many hats throughout her life. While raising five children, she volunteered for many causes, hosted international visitors, and worked in the Fox Chapel High School administrative office.

However, she found her true career calling while working as a real estate agent for Howard Hanna Real Estate Services. Norine was a strong woman who was fiercely loyal, compassionate and hard working. She could tap out a song on the piano without sheet music, loved to dance and sing, and always knew how to enjoy life.

She loved to entertain and hosted many a memorable gatherings in the home she shared with her husband, Rich. She could find humor in almost any situation and will be missed by all who knew her. There were many kind individuals that helped care for Norine as dementia consumed her.

From the bottom of our hearts, we sincerely thank Marilyn, Candy, Tammy, Kathy, Antonina, Nicole, Mia, Ami, and Ann for their compassion. The time and energy that you devoted to our mother is priceless. There will be no calling hours but a funeral mass will be held on Saturday, January 12 at 11 am at St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish, St Edward Church, 450 Walnut Street, Blawnox, PA 15238.
