Norma J. Meyer OTTAWA – Norma J. Meyer, 86, of Ottawa died at 1:26 p.m. Sunday, July 1, 2018 at The Meadows of Ottawa. She was born January 25, 1932 in Lima to the late Cyril and Lucille (Ellerbrock) Kuhlman. On June 18, 1952 she married Raymond Meyer who died November 27, 2006.

She is survived by two sons, Mick (Stacy) Meyer and Doug (Lynn) Meyer both of Ottawa; six grandchildren, Dereck Meyer, Dylan Meyer, Brooke (Josh Karl) Engard, Logan Meyer, Brandon Meyer, and MacKenzie Meyer; one great-grandchild, Karson Meyer; three brothers, Joseph (Helen) Kuhlman of New Cleveland, Earl (Nancy) Kuhlman of Kalida, and Bill (Jane) Kuhlman of New Cleveland; four sisters, Virginia Landwehr and Betty (Jim) Richardson both of Ottawa, Angie (Bob) Ricker of Delphos, and Debra (Denny) Lammers of Glandorf; and a sister-in-law, Mary Lou (Virgil) Rieman of Glandorf. She was also preceded in death by a son, Raymond Meyer; a daughter, Gerilyn Meyer; a sister, Janet Repko; a brother, Leroy Kuhlman; and three brothers-in-law, John Repko, Donald Landwehr, and Alvin Maag. Norma was one of the original members of the Ottawa EMS, serving for over 35 years.

She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa and its Catholic Ladies of Columbia. Norma was also a member of the Ottawa Fire Ladies.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa with Fr. Matt Jozefiak officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and 2 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa. There will be a EMS Service Tuesday at 7 p.m. and a Fire Department Auxiliary Service at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, both at the funeral home.
