Norma’s Obituary Norma Jean Kolpacke, of South Lyon, formerly of Livonia, age 68, passed away unexpectedly at home on May 30, 2019. She was born in Northville, MI on June 26, 1950 the daughter of the late James Alexander and Agnes Mae (nee Garchow) Colsher. Norma is the loving mother of twin daughters, Kimberly Pincheck (Michael) and Stephanie Mlynarczyk (Scott); beloved grandmother of Carson and Claire Pincheck and Madelyn and Andrew Mlynarczyk; dearest sister of Donald Colsher (Christine) and Charles Colsher.

Norma had been living in South Lyon but was raised in Livonia, graduating from Livonia Stevenson in 1968. After marrying and having her twin daughters, she then attended the University of Michigan, Dearborn campus where she completed a Bachelors Degree program in computer science. She used the knowledge she gained to gain employment with Ford Motor Company in the Information-Technology Department.

She worked as a Systems Analyst with Ford until retiring in 2013. She was an avid quilter, who loved making quilts for everyone. She regularly attended quilting conventions and annually attended the convention in Grand Rapids.

Norma was an active grandmother, being involved in as much as she could to support her 4 grandchildren. Norma’s family will receive friends Monday, June 3 from 3-8 pm at the funeral home. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 11 am at the funeral home.

A funeral procession will take Norma to her final resting place at Glen Eden Lutheran Memorial Park in Livonia. Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers her family suggests donations can be made to the American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association or Huron Valley Humane Society.
