Norma Jean Troutman June 21, 1941 – May 07, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Norma Jean Troutman, age 77, of Guston, KY, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Norton Hosparus Health Center in Louisville, KY. Norma was born June 21, 1941 in Louisville, KY to the late George and Lilly Mae Hazelwood Hume. Her first husband, Albert Joe Troutman and brother, Raymond Hume also preceded her in death.

Norma was a member of the Brandenburg Moose Lodge and enjoyed playing cards with friends and family. She was a fireball of energy and never like sitting around, unless it was at a slot machine. Norma worked as a Tow Boat Cook for 12 years and then worked at Mr. Gatti’s for many years.

She never met a stranger and loved to talk to anyone she met. Norma had many dogs throughout her life and she loved each and every one of them. She is survived by her husband, Henry Lee Crawford; children: William “Billy Joe” (Debbie Lanham) Troutman of Guston, KY, Debra Karen (Alvin “Ooner”) Thompson of Guston, KY, Barbara Ann (Roy) Lasley of Brandenburg, Shelby (Kathy) Jantzen of Louisville, KY, and Jeannie Campbell of Brandenburg; sister, Patricia Ries of Louisville and sister-in-law, Jana Hume of Indiana; grandchildren: Jessica (Amanda) Troutman, Jennifer (Michael) Neal, Amanda (Andy) Zanone, and Daniel Lasley; extended grandson, Brandon “Bucky” Medley; great-grandchildren: Megan, Ryan, Drew, Ethan, Rylan, Mimi, and Baby Lincoln; and extended great-grandchildren: Logan, Carter, Riley Cooper, Brooklyn, and Waylan.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, May 10, 2019 at 12:00 PM EDT from the Chapel of Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home in Brandenburg with burial to follow in Cap Anderson Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 9, 2019 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM and Friday after 9:00 AM at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Pets in Need Society, P.O.
