Norman A. Cote, 65, of Biddeford, passed away on March 4, 2019 at St. Andre Health Care Facility. He was born May 6, 1953 in Biddeford, a son of Narcis and Irene (Dionne) Cote. He graduated from SMVTI with his heating and pluming license.

On August 1, 1975 he married Patricia Dionne. Norman was employed by the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard for 33 years. Norman was a very kind and generous man and was loved by all who knew him.

He would help neighbors, friends and family in any way he could. He was a role model to everyone around him. He liked to hike, play Broomball and was into fitness and exercise.

He played hockey in the local men’s league, and was considered a Jack-of-all-trades, but, most of all, he loved his family and enjoyed time spent with them. He is preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are: His wife: Patricia Cote Daughter: Erica Lamontagne and her husband Jamie 2 sons: Bradley Cote and his wife Lori Douglas Cote 4 Grandchildren: Rylie Pleau, Emma Cote, James Cote, and Lukas Lamontagne.

5 Brothers: Raymond Cote and his wife Lorraine, Robert Cote and his wife Lucille, Paul Cote and his wife Kay, Donald Cote and his wife Sue, and David Cote and his wife Lynne. Sister: Priscilla Guerin and her husband Ronald. Several Nieces and Nephews.

Visiting Hours will 4 to 6 p.m. on Monday, March 11, 2019 at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm Street, Biddeford, ME 04005.
