OBITUARY Norman Aaron Stromeyer July 13, 1926 – December 3, 2018 Norman Aaron Stromeyer, age 92, of Springfield, New Jersey passed away on Monday December 3, 2018. Norman was born July 13, 1926 in Newark, New Jersey. He lived in Hillside before moving to Springfield 66 1/2 years ago.

Norman was an Army veteran of WWII. He was the founder, owner and operator of Midtown Auto Body Company, Inc. Newark, NJ for over 40 years. Norman was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years: Carol Stromeyer ( 2015) and his son: Robert (2008).

Norman is survived by: son William (Raquel Aneckstein) Stromeyer-Miami Beach, Florida; and son David (Patricia) Stromeyer-Monroe Township, New Jersey. He is also survived by his adored grandchildren: Mickey Stromeyer and Carissa Clark, Jesse and Evangeline Stromeyer, Ryan and Amy Stromeyer, Marlena and Robert Fass, Adam and Keely Brawer, Samuel Stromeyer and Anna Leijonhufvud. Also surviving are his cherished great grandchildren: Mason, Braydon and Jacob Stromeyer, Leah, Ava and Aaron Fass, Westley and Jonathan Brawer.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Temple of Israel Mausoleum, Beth Israel Cemetery Route #1 and Woodbridge Center Drive, Woodbridge, New Jersey 07095. A the period of mourning will be observed after the funeral at the residence. Contributions in Norman’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
