Norman’s Obituary Norman B. Chamberlin passed peacefully on the morning of January 21,2019. Norman was born on February 18,1932 in Royal Oak MI, son to Norman and June Chamberlin and brother to Sue and Sandy. Norman graduated from Royal Oak High School in 1950.

He served two tours with the with the U.S. Navy with two honorable discharges from 1951-1958. He often spoke of his time in Marathon Key Fla as a young man, installing garage doors and fishing. Norman had a very long sales career with the F.B. Wright Co. in Dearborn, MI.

until he retired at the age of 75. He enjoyed the saxophone music of Jean-Baptiste “Illinois” Jacquet. Norm and Susan were married on February 23, 2001.

They spent their last years living in Farmington MI. surrounded by very loving neighbors and friends. Norman loved to sit on the front porch, read his book while waving to the neighbors and passers bye.

Norman lost his wife and best friend Susan almost two years to the day of his death. He is survived by sons Mark Chamberlin and Jeffery Chamberlin; grandsons Trent Chamberlin and Lance Chamberlin; sisters Sue Deview and Sandy Mawer; nieces Colleen Richardson, Cathy Smith, Carrie Pryce and Connie Mawer; nephews Scott Mawer, Paul Hewson, Brian Hewson and many grand and great grand nieces and nephews. Burial and memorial services will take place in late spring of 2019 at Oakwood Cemetery in Farmington MI.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Meals on Wheels program of Farmington Hills. All donations go directly into the Meals on Wheels program towards food purchases for meals that are delivered in Farmington and Farmington Hills. Checks may be made out to: City of Farmington Hills.
