OBITUARY Norman “Ben” Henry Sommers January 17, 1932 – December 17, 2018 On Monday, December 17, 2018, Norman “Ben” Henry Sommers of Catonsville, MD. Beloved husband of Fern D. Sommers, loving father of Linda D. Sommers-Poulson and her husband Michael and Donna M. Sommers and her husband Jack. Grandfather of Morgan and Kyle and several nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his siblings, Charlotte, Milton and Alfred. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc., 7250 Washington Boulevard, Elkridge, MD 21075 (exit 6 off Rt. 100 south) for a ” Time of Friendship” from 12:00 noon till the start of the Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 1:00 pm.

Inurnment to follow at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Elkridge, MD where Mr. Sommers will receive Military Honors by the U.S. Navy Ceremonial Guard. If desired, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Scleroderma Foundation, 300 Rosewood Dr., Site 105, Danvers, MA 01923.
