OBITUARY Norman G. Palmer April 3, 1940 – November 6, 2018 Norman Gene “Speedy” Palmer, 78, of Hixson, TN passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2018. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam and served from 1961 – 1967. He was retired from Dupont.

Mr. Palmer was a member of Temple Lodge #430 F&AM, the Scottish Rite and the Alhambra Shrine. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy C. Tinker. Survivors include his children, Jason G. (Angela) Palmer; Rebecca M. (Matt) Pobieglo and William Warren Palmer; six grandchildren, Haleigh Dodd, Aaron Palmer, Braden Sims, Alana Pobieglo, Dylan Pobieglo and Mickey Pobieglo.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday at Chattanooga National Cemetery with the Rev. Terry Bolton officiating, followed by Masonic Graveside services. There will be no visitation.

Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road, East Ridge, TN.
