Obituary for Norris Dean Tormoehlen Mr. Norris Dean Tormoehlen, 82, of Seymour, passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2018, at Columbus Regional Hospital. He was born on March 7, 1936 to the late Frederic W. and Edna (Hubbard) Tormoehlen. On December 25, 1957, he married Carol Tomoehlen, she precedes him in death.

He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. He retired after 30 plus years at Panasote/H.O. Canfield. He enjoyed watching U of L basketball.

He was an avid euchre player. He was also in the CB Radio Club. He was a graduate of Immanuel Lutheran School and Shields High School.

He was a United States Air Force veteran and served during the Korean War. Funeral services will be held at Voss and Sons Funereal Service on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 1 pm, with Revs. Andrew Currao and Joseph Barlau officiating.

Burial will follow at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery with full military graveside rites conducted by VFW Post 1925, American Legion Post 89, Disabled Veterans 47, Korean and Vietnam Veterans, all of Seymour. Family and friends may call at Voss and Sons Funeral Service from 11 am until time of service. Memorials may be written to Redeemer Lutheran Church Building Fund, in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.

He is survived by his children, Cynthia (Robert) Toppe, Christopher (Terri) Tormoehlen, William (Cindy) Tormoehlen, and Craig (Patty) Tormoehlen, all of Seymour; grandchildren, Christopher Tormoehlen, Jr. Columbus, Indiana, Crystal Tormoehlen, Seymour, Indiana, Heather (Kris) Brott, Seymour, Kody (Kim) Tormoehlen, Westport, Indiana, Marc Tormoehlen, Palm Springs, California, Paige (Hank Connor) Tormoehlen, Scottsburg, Indiana, Danna Templeton, New York, New York, Matt Templeton, Whiteland, Indiana, Jim (Ashley) Templeton, Noblesville, Indiana, Nick Toppe, Evansville, Indiana and Alex Toppe, Seymour, Indiana; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Phyllis (Woodrow) Turner, brother-in-law, David Bass; sisters-in-law, Kay East and Lynn Schmidt; as well as several nieces and nephews.
