Services for Kelly Barnes, 85, of Chariton will be Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Chariton. Family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. Kelly passed away May 23, 2019 at the Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ellie Barnes in 2011; his father Omer Marcelle Barnes; mother, Nelle Barnes Lutz; and step-father, Cecil Lutz.

He will be greatly missed by his children: Randy K. (Barbara) Barnes, Mike (Diane) Barnes, and Cindy Moeller; grandchildren: Christopher Barnes, Gina Barnes, Samantha Moeller, Alyssa Moeller, and Luke Moeller; great grandchildren: Reese, Gabby, Caleb, and Ethan; along with many relatives and friends.
