Olin Derek Streett, 55, died Friday, November 30, 2018, at McLeod Regional Medical Center, after an illness. Derek was born December 2, 1962 in Florence, son of Larry Parker Streett Lane and the late Olin Wilson Streett. He was graduate of Lake City High School, served his country in the South Carolina National Guard, and was a carpenter.

Surviving in addition to his mother and step-father, Larry and LeBrine Lane, Sr. of Dillon; children, Amber (Eric) Fedkenhauer of Coward, Foryst Streett and Kasee Streett, both of Charleston; brother, Greg (Kim) Streett of Lexington; six grandchildren and special friend, Jeanie Deininger of Lake City. A Celebration of Life will be 6:00 PM, Monday, December 3, 2018, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, Scranton. Family will receive friends from 5:00 – 6:00 PM, Monday, December 3, 2018 at Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton.

Memorials may be made to Terrell’s Church of God of Prophecy, Building Fund, 1109 New Zion Road, Lake City, SC 29560 or Lynches River Free Will Baptist Church, 503 North Half Moon Road, Lake City, SC 29560.
