Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 21, 2018, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel with burial in Monroe Hills Memorial Gardens. Rev.

Mark Goolsby will officiate. The family will greet friends the day of the service from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m., at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Olin, the son of the late Willie Covel Sikes and Etta Mae Walls Sikes was born January 1, 1934, in Hampton, Georgia.

His wife, Fannie Ruth Sikes preceded him in death. He was retired from Robins Air Force Base and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Survivors include his son, Steven Sikes (Regina) of Forsyth; step-children, Ray Edge (Margaret) of Griffin, Carol Ann Herbert of Forsyth, Wayne Edge (Robin) of Sandersville and Ronnie Edge (Judy) of Forsyth; twelve grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Alzheimer’s Association, 886 Mulberry Street, Macon, GA 31201. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
