Friendship — Olive H. Slocum of 6943 County Road 31 died Monday, November 26, 2018 in her home. She was born on December 10, 1932 in Batavia, a daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth Radley Haskins. She married Art Slocum who predeceased her.

Olive was very active in the Friendship United Methodist Church and was involved in the United Methodist Women’s group. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a life time nurturer, care giver and seamstress, a former meals on wheels driver and loved gardening and her many flowers.

Surviving are her children, Linda Barber of Belfast, Sally (Jody) Robinson of Englewood, FL, Wayne Schultz of Friendship, Julie Peet of Friendship, 13 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, a brother, Roger (Corina) Haskins of Spring Brook and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by three sons, Roy, Leland and Paul Schultz, three brothers, Arthur, Donald, and Ernest Haskins, three sisters, Jeanette Clark, Arda Wilday, and June Sanders. Family and friends may gather from 2:00 to 4:00 pm on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N. Genesee Street, Fillmore where a funeral service will follow at 4:00 pm.

Clara Wilder, pastor of the Friendship United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in White Cemetery, Rushford.
