Oliver Lee Wade, 79 of Crestview, FL, went to be with the Lord on July 21, 2018. He was born in Floyd County, VA on May of 1939 and was a resident of Crestview, FL for the last 30 years. He served his country in the United States Navy, and worked for various Government Contractors throughout his career, ending at Eglin Air Force Base.

He enjoyed writing music, short stories, and books, and playing music with his friends as often as possible. Oliver loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was preceded by his father, Harman Winston Wade, and his mother Nanie Lelia Fain.

Oliver is survived by his children, April Lynn and husband David Erickson, Libby Romack, and Phillip and wife Lisa Wade; his grandchildren, Lynde Kroll, Justin Baldwin, Bradley Romack II, Luke Romack, Kerri Simonsen, Tiffany Wade, Heather Wade, Christie Wade, and Jason Wade. Services will be held on Wednesday, July 25th at 10:00 AM at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, FL. In lieu of flowers, family ask donations can be made in his memory to Child Fund International.
