Oliver Vance Cauley, 95, of Kinston passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at UNC Lenoir Healthcare. He served in the Navy during World War II. Oliver retired from the US Postal Service in Kinston.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Council and Nellie Cauley; sister, Eula Mae Cauley Westbrook; brothers, C.B. Cauley and James F. Cauley. Oliver is survived by his wife of 71 years Evelyn Pearce Cauley of the home; brother, Thomas Edward Cauley of Kinston and multiple nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 8, 2018 at Garner Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Darren Smith officiating. Burial will follow the funeral service at Westview Cemetery.
