OBITUARY Opal Irene Sabo September 4, 1927 – February 2, 2019 Opal Irene Mathews Sabo, age 91 of Tazewell, TN, was born September 4, 1927 and went to be with the Lord on February 2, 2019. Opal was a member of Lone Holly Baptist Church of New Tazewell and enjoyed listening to gospel music and preaching. She loved looking at flowers.

Opal is preceded in death by her husband Andrew John Sabo Sr, parents Fred and Ora Mathews, son James Arnold Sabo, brother Eugene Mathews, sisters Mary Lorene Mathews and Marie Mathews. She is survived by sons Carl Edward Mathews of Tazewell TN, Frederick Samuel Sabo of Tazewell TN, Ronald Charles Sabo of Houston TX, Gary Wayne Sabo of Forge Ridge TN, Andrew John Sabo Jr and wife Renee of Tazewell TN, Roy Allen Sabo and wife Bonnie of Princeton IN. Daughter Patricia Ann Sabo Gray of New Tazewell TN.

Grandchildren Ronald Charles Jr, Michael Dewayne Sabo, Steven L Sabo, Ophadelia Dawn Sabo, Christopher Sabo, Amanda Sabo, Amanda Lynn Sabo, Hazel Irene Gray. Many great grandchildren. Brother Roy Wayne Mathews of Sevierville TN.

Sister Ora Mae Matthews of Sevierville TN. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends. The family will receive friends Tuesday February 5th from 5 until 8 P.M. at Coffey Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be Wednesday February 6th at 2 P.M. in the Coffey Funeral Home chapel with the graveside service to follow in Rose Cemetery. Ministers: Rev. Tim Cosby and Rev.
