Opal’s Obituary Opal Ruth Sutton went home to her Lord and Savior on April 29, 2019 in Kaufman, Texas. Opal was born on January 25, 1928 in Lillian, Texas to Robert Lee and Alma Ruth Shaw. Opal was raised in Fort Worth and in the 1940’s moved to Dallas where she lived mostly.

She basically raised her family in the Dallas Farmers Market. Opal was known by her family to be one tough cookie. She was a loving woman and was always there for her family.

One of her favorite things to do was travel any time and any way she could. Opal is preceded in death by her husband Raymond Edward “Buddy “Sutton, parents Robert Lee and Alma Ruth( Blackwell) Shaw, children Lewis Edward and Barbara Sue Sutton, brothers Luther, Robert and Bobby Shaw, granddaughter Angela Dawn McMillon, great-grandson Karson James Nail, sisters Francis Downs, Dorothy Toomer, Betty Sanders, Bonnie Shaw. Opal is survived by her Son: Kenneth Sutton and his wife Barbara of Kaufman, Daughters: Peggy Adams and husband Joe of Lone Oak, Evelyn McMillon and husband Larry of Kaufman, Grandchildren: 11, Great-Grandchildren: 22, Great-Great Grandchildren 16.
