Ora Mascaro 1921- 2018 Our sweet mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend Ora Taylor Mascaro, passed away peacefully on December 22, surround by her loving family, she was 97 years young. Ora was born to William G. and Emily Bell Taylor on November 18, 1921 in Fremont, Utah and was the sixth of twelve children. Ora married Frank Mascaro on June 26, 1942 and had two sons, Bob and Dave, and a second mother to Angelo Mascaro.

She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many church positions and callings. She was a successful business owner and operated a salon for 25 years cultivating a loyal clientele. Ora loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.

She was a true sports fan and loved watching the Atlanta Braves and cheered for any team playing against her Frank’s Chicago Cubs. Her loyalty to the Jazz was tested when they traded Kyle Korver and she was very excited when his career brought him full circle back to Salt Lake City. Ora was preceded in death by her devoted husband Frank and ten siblings; survived by her sister Sherma Sondrup (Keith deceased), sons Bob (Leslie divorced), David (Barbara divorced) and Angelo Mascaro (Thanna deceased), grandchildren: Mitch Mascaro (Stephanie), Mike Mascaro (Carrie divorced), Mindi Elise Pau’u (Misi), Nicole Lewis (Sheldon), Drew Mascaro (Cate J.), Matt Mascaro (Ambria P.), Candace Mascaro (Nate S.), 11 great-grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandchild.

“It broke our hearts to lose you. But you did not go alone, for part of us went with you the day God welcomed you home”. Author Unknown Funeral services will be held on December 29, 2018 at the Cannon Mortuary 2460 East Bengal Blvd.

, Salt Lake City, Utah. Friends and family may attend a Greeting and Visitation from 10 am to 11:30 am with funeral services at noon with internment at the Mountain View Memorial Estates Cemetery.
