Owen Laurence “Larry” Horn, Sr., 70, of Orange, Texas, passed away on March 13, 2019, in Beaumont, Texas. Born in Orange, Texas, on November 19, 1948, he was the son of Obin Lazerus Horn and Wilma Jean (Phelan) Eaves. Larry proudly served his country in the United States Army.

He then worked as a carpenter for many years, building furniture. Larry was a very funny man and enjoyed writing comedy and poems. He also enjoyed watching boxing.

Larry will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Obin Horn and Wilma Jean Eaves. He is survived by children, Heath Sheppard, Travis Sheppard, Kimberly Cooper, Owen L. Horn, Jr., Misty Garza, Heather Horn, Justin Horn, Josh Horn, Savannah Horn, and Jade Horn; his siblings, Randy Eaves, Buddy Horn, Deanna Belcher, and Kathy Hodges; and his 17 grandchildren.
