OBITUARY Palmer P Davidson June 1, 1943 – July 30, 2018 Palmer P. Davidson, Jr., 75, of El Cajon, CA passed away suddenly but peacefully on Monday, July 30, 2018 in his home. Palmer was born in Grand Forks, N. Dakota to Palmer and Dorothy Davidson. He grew up in Grand Forks, graduated from Grand Forks Central High School in 1961.
Eventually relocated to Kansas and then onto San Diego around 1995. He found his soulmate and married Carol on February 18, 2006 (their relationship began over a cup of coffee). He is survived by his wife Carol, children Andrea Clark, Lisa Douglas, Paula Provo, Palmer P. Davidson, III, stepson Steven Morse, 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, brother Bill Davidson, sister Joann Maides, He served in the Army six months active duty and seven years Army Reserve as a medic with a marksman badge (rifle).
He wore many hats during his lifetime; in addition to being a Dad he was a minister, real estate agent, healthcare aide and special needs teachers assistant for the SD School District. He was most proud of his work with the children’s ministry and VBS (Vacation Bible School). He could also challenge anyone to Bible trivia if needed and come out the winner.
Family and friends will say his two most striking features in addition to his bright smile were his blue eyes and his white hair. He had a large and extended family and many friends who will miss him. A memorial service to celebrate his life is being held on August 12, 2018, 2pm at Lakeside Christian Church,13739 El Monte Road, Lakeside, CA 92040, attire requested is semi-casual.
