Pamela Lynn Thurman peacefully passed away on May 6, 2019 in Kauai, Hawaii while on a dream vacation. She was 57 years old. Mrs. Thurman is survived by her mother Patricia Hatcher, her father Charles Manry Sr., her brother Charles W Manry Jr., her husband Larry Thurman, their two daughters Elizabeth and Veronica, and her two grandchildren Bella and Braxton.

Pamela was born on August 7th, 1962 at Madigan General Hospital in Washington State. From a young age, Pam was always a devoted, hard worker who always put others before herself. Pam and Larry married on January 31st, 1987.

Shortly after, Pam started her career at Conover Insurance where she became a successful Commercial Insurance Broker and was the Vice President of the Commercial Lines Division. Pam was extremely proud of her career and cherished each co-worker and client. As well as being devoted to her job, Pam and Larry opened Whine Country Kennels in 1998 where Pam found a hobby she loved.

Pam showed dogs in AKC Dog Shows and NSTRA Dog Trails. Pam loved each and every dog. In November of 2015, Pam became extremely ill and was placed on disability.

Over the past four years, Pam struggled with her health but never lost her momentum and joy of living. Pam always dreamed of going to Hawaii for a week with her daughter. Pam was able to do all the activities she wanted to do while in Kauai before peacefully passing there.

A memorial service will be held on June 1st, 2019 at 10am at Christ the King Parish in Richland, WA. A celebration of life will follow. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Pamela Lynn Thurman please visit our Sympathy Store.
