Obituary for Pamela “Pam” L. (Hastings) Broadwater WILKINSON – Pamela “Pam” Lee Broadwater, age 74, of Wilkinson, passed away Saturday, December 1, 2018 at her residence. She was born in Burbank, California on January 27, 1944 to Harold and Sarah Christell (Spears) Hastings. After her family moved to Indiana, she graduated from Wilkinson High School in 1962 and attended Indiana Business College.

Pam married her husband of 54 years, Paul Broadwater, on February 15, 1964. She had been a member of Wilkinson United Methodist Church for many years. She loved caring for her children and grandchildren, and especially enjoyed holiday gatherings, where she could be with them.

She also liked shopping and cooking for her family, including her well known chicken salad. Pam is survived by her husband, Paul Broadwater; children, Danielle Broadwater, Kelly Broadwater (Richard), Matt Broadwater, Alison (John) Quirk, Dustin Broadwater, Wesley Broadwater (Ali); sixteen grandchildren, Caitlin, Maliachi, Whitney, Christian, Chandler, Kylee, Saige, Peyton, Chase, Hadley, Reddek, Norah, Kinley, Isabel, Jordis, Maeve; siblings, Van (Jeanne) Hastings, Charlene (John) Gilbert, Kerry (Rosalie) Hastings; aunt, Elise (Verlon) Rohrer; father-in-law, Paul C. Broadwater, Sr. sisters-in-law, Lynne Hastings, Vicky (Jack) Friddle; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Sarah Hastings; brother, Charles Hastings; and mother-in-law, Thelma Broadwater.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Shirley United Methodist Church, 309 South St., Shirley, IN 47384.

Pastor Katherine Murray will be officiating. Burial will follow at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson.
