PANSIE SUE SCHRODER Pansie Sue Schroder, 70, of Quincy, died on Thursday (May 2, 2019) in Blessing Hospital. Born on September 14, 1948 a daughter of William Melvin and Loney Belle Jackson Shaffer. Pansie married Howard Schroder on February 17, 1968 in Monroe City, Missouri.

Pansie attended Coatsburg Grade School in Camp Point, IL and she graduated from Gem City College from the school of Horology. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Quincy. She was an avid bowler.

Her hobbies included, sewing (costumes), crocheting, and she loved to listen to her husband play in a local band. In addition to her husband, Howard, she is survived by her daughters, Angela English (Gary) of Ewing, MO and Melissa Orf (Daniel) of Quincy; grandchildren, Michael Dowell, Ashley Brotherton (Blake), Cody Williams and Roby Williams; a great granddaughter, Jealynn Brotherton; her brothers, Billy Shaffer (Gloria); Fredrick Shaffer (Connie); Willie Shaffer, Sr. (Judy); her sisters, Hilda Spidle; Mary Schroder (Gary); Carolyn Masterson; Frances Campbell (Jeff); also many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a great granddaughter Paisley; four sisters and seven brothers.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday (May 7, 2019) at 10:30AM in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home. Pastor Gary Zdziarski will officiate the services. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Monday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 PM and Tuesday morning from 10:00 until the time of services at the Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to the Blessing Cancer Center.
