Obituary for Patricia Ann “Patti” Franklin-Leinweber Patricia Ann Franklin-Leinweber September 18, 1952 – December 29, 2018 Waterville, WA Patricia “Patti” Ann Franklin-Leinweber, of Waterville, WA, died on December 29, 2018, at Central Washington Hospital, of a lengthy illness. She was born on September 18, 1952, in Bradford, PA, to Patsy and Clara Costello. She attended schools and graduated from Bradford Area High School in 1971.
She earned a cosmetology degree from California and worked there, also working under Vidal Sassoon at Universal Studios. She married Gary Franklin in Las Vegas, NV, and resided in the San Fernando Valley. After his death, she returned to Braford where her and her companion, James Hannon, became parents of a daughter, Gemma Hannon.
She then moved to Washington state after meeting Eldon Leinweber, PA, where they resided in Waterville. She was a lover of animals and greatly enjoyed her home and their place at Blue Lake, where they had a summer camper. She loved to go and see her step-grandchildren and loved them very much.
Those who know her, loved her great wit and the stories she would tell about her time working at Universal Studios and the stories of the actors and actresses. She and Eldon established North Central Washington Health which DBA as Mansfield Family Medicine, and all of the patients adored her. Many would say she was the best medicine for them when they came to the clinic.
She was preceded in death by her father, Patsy, her husband, Gary, and two nephews. She is survived by her longtime Significant Other and love of his life, Eldon Leinweber PA; daughter, Gemma Hannon; mother, Clara Costello; brother, Pat Costello; sister, Christine (Sack) Costello and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by stepchildren: Briana (Leinweber) Sutherland, Tammette (Leinweber) Chitwood, Micheya (Leinweber), Sheena (Leinweber) Becker, and Bethany (Leinweber) Siebert.
She had 15 step-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, January 5, 2018, at the Waterville Federated Church.
