She is survived by her husband, William Walker; son and daughter, Laquaine (Melvina) Bowens and Iesha Bowens; grandchildren, Ayesha Bowens and Paige Bowens; siblings Willie Mae Washington, Alethia Smith, Walter (Beverly) Smith and Alphonso (Gwen) Smith, Sr.; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
