Patricia M. Haggerty (nee: Faughey) passed away suddenly on Monday, December 3, 2018. She was born in the Bronx to the late Mary (nee: Duffy) and Owen Faughey. She was an employee of Exxon, Linden, for over 20 years and was also a receptionist for Pamrapo Savings and Loan.

Mrs. Haggerty was a devoted parishioner and active member of Blessed Miriam Teresa Parish at St. Mary, Star of the Sea Church. She was a member of the Rosary Society and involved in numerous church functions. She was also a volunteer at Peace Care at St. Ann’s in Jersey City.

Mrs. Haggerty was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert Haggerty; and her loving son, Daniel Haggerty. She is survived by her dear siblings, Frank Faughey, and his wife, Theresa, and Kathryn Marceski, and her husband, Edward; and several loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. Visitation will take place at Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc. on Friday, December 7, 2018, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Prayer Service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, December 8, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. A Memorial Mass will be held at Blessed Miriam Teresa Parish at St. Mary, Star of the Sea Church at a later date.

Mrs. Haggerty will be inurned with her beloved husband and son at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum following the Memorial Mass. Donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
