OBITUARY Patricia Johanna Thompson October 5, 1941 – July 5, 2018 Patricia Johanna Thompson, 76, passed away on July 5th, 2018, with her loving family by her side. She was born to the late Corinne Bagshaw and Patsy James Christy on October 5th of 1941 in California, Pennsylvania. Patricia graduated from California Community High School in 1959, and married US Navy member Jerry Lee Thompson in 1963.

They lived in Japan and the Philippines, and eventually settled in Santee, CA in 1973. Patricia was active in the community, being involved in the local little league and her sons’ schools. Her kind heart, sense of humor, and caring nature will be sorely missed by her friends and family.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Jerry; her sister, Sandra Sheridan; her two sons: Scott Thompson; and Mark Thompson, as well as his wife, Caron Thompson; and three grandchildren, Ryan Cole-Thompson; Dominic Thompson; and Courtney Thompson. A viewing will be held on Thursday, July 26th, from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. at the El Cajon Mortuary. The funeral service will be held the next day, the 27th, at 11:15 a.m. at Miramar National Cemetery.

A wake will be held following the funeral service, from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. at Patricia and Jerry’s residence.
