She was born in New Kensington on April 2, 1926 to the late Joseph and Helen Bartlick Gross and has been a resident of Allegheny Twp.

since moving from Arnold in 2003. Mrs. Conroy was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, New Kensington and enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, gardening and going to the casino. She is survived by her three sons Richard L. (Jill) Conroy Jr. of Lower Burrell, Michael (Janet) Conroy of Delaware, OH.

, Kurt (Lisa) Conroy of Allegheny Twp. , five daughters Kathleen (Richard) Vawryk of Brackenridge, Mary Lou Kolan of New Kensington, Maureen (Wayne) Walker of Lower Burrell, Carol (Ron Urbaneck) Muldowney of Verona, Patricia (Lee Powers) Conroy of Fort Lauderdale, FL. , 18 grandchildren Heather Barlow, Nathan (Renee Zebrine) Conroy, Christopher (Sara) Conroy, Laura (Jeff) Olson, Daniel (Taylor Conroy, Cody (Kelsie Thompson) Conroy, Timothy (Nicole Caldwell) Conroy, Christa Vawryk, Kevin (Jeannette Slike) Vawryk and Casey (Ally) Camlet, Travis Kolan, Vanessa Kolan, Hayley (Jon Salem) Walker, Ryan (Alyssa Leshko) Walker, Patrick (Kirbie Johnson) Muldowney and Carlie Muldowney, great grandchildren Corey, Ashley, Craig, Brenna, Joey, Patrick, Ellen, Ava, Ella, Ava, Mason, Kyler, Evan, Julian, Jalen, Isaiah, Paige and Sydney.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. “Sheriff” Conroy Sr. on February 28, 2003 and three grandchildren Cara Conroy, Matthew Conroy and Kelly Hanzel. Friends are invited to attend Christian Funeral Mass Tuesday at 10 AM in St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 1125 Leishman Ave, New Kensington. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Arnold.
