Obituary for Patricia M. Lajeunesse Patricia Marie Lajeunesse, age 83 of Longwood, passed away Friday, June 15, 2018. Patricia, who was also fondly known Pat or “Patty”, was born on March 30, 1935 in East Cleveland, Ohio to her parents, Edna and George Swain. She was the only child of her parents.

She attended Notre Academy in South Euclid, Ohio and Fenn College (now Cleveland State). Was a member of the Sorority and the Newman Club. She married Victor Lajeunesse of Canton, Ohio, in 1959.

Patricia was a dedicated wife and mother, as she was actively involved in many school and community activities. Patricia taught pre-school, was a legal secretary, and became a top sales person at Marshal Ford. They relocated to Longwood, Florida in 1987 to enjoy the Florida lifestyle.

They were members of Annunciation Catholic Church. Survivors include, her husband Victor, sons Bryan Lajeunesse of Parma, Ohio and Kevin Lajeunesse and Daughter in Law, Maria Gabriela Lajeunesse of Altamonte Springs, and Daughter, Cheryl Metzger of Medina, Ohio. She leaves 5 grandchildren: Alyssa, Adam, Alayna, Danielle and Lindsay; 2 great- grandchildren: Ellie and Kylee.

She also leaves two Sisters-in-Law, Louise Beitzel of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and Elizabeth Lajeunesse of Chardon, Ohio, and a host of nephews and nieces. Her close friend and neighbor, Sister Jessica. As well, her beloved pets, Cali and Tweety.

She enjoyed the simple things in life, a lover of nature, and all animals, especially her dogs and cats. She also enjoyed gardening, flowers and balloons for all occasions. She loved Disney, and was huge sports fan, including NASCAR, golf, football, and especially of her beloved Cleveland Indians and had zest for life.

We would like to thank the many Dr’s and Nurses at Florida Hospital Altamonte, and Village on the Green for their loving care and support during Patricia’s illness. We are forever grateful to each one of them. Visitation will be on Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 4 to 8pm at the Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd.
