Patricia Lynn Perkins Burnett, 68, of McDonald, died Thursday, July 19, 2018 in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born December 10, 1949 in Canonsburg, a daughter of the late Vernon Ross and Irene Victoria (Bennett) Perkins. Mrs. Burnett was a 1967 graduate of Canon-MacMillan High School and earned an Associate degree in business from C.C.A.C.

She worked as an executive assistant for Alcoa in Pittsburgh for 26 years. She then went to work for C.C.A.C.

West where she retired in January 2018. Mrs. Burnett was a member of First Baptist Church, McDonald, where she was the former church secretary, a member of the choir and Psalm 150 as well as a member of the Women’s Ministry. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church, Mt.

Lebanon choir. She enjoyed singing and crafting. She loved time spent with Vince, spending time with her grandchildren and telling stories.

Surviving are a son, Steven Burnett of Crafton; four sisters, Donna (Ken) Elliott of Imperial, Linda Perkins of McDonald, Kimberly (Janet) Perkins of Pittsburgh and Lisa Perkins-Khan of Columbia, MD; a brother, James (Connie) Perkins of North Hampton; a companion, Vince Jones of Coraopolis; three grandchildren, Kamerin Gourley, Mia Lynn and Arianna Burnett; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Deceased are her husband, Exley Burnett; a sister, Ethel (late Stanley) Edwards; and a brother, Vernon Joseph Perkins. Friends will be received from 2-4 and from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave.

, McDonald. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at First Baptist Church, McDonald. Burial will follow in Robinson Run Cemetery, McDonald.
