Mrs. Patricia “Pat” Smith Kitchens Thomson – Mrs. Patricia “Pat” Smith Kitchens, 77, widow of Mr. Kenneth Kitchens, entered into rest Friday, May 24, 2019, in Wills Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2019 in Pine Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Butch Baston officiating.

Interment will follow in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Kitchens was a native of Wilkes County, but had lived in Thomson for many years. She was a homemaker and a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Smith and Hazel Agee Smith, husband, Kenneth Kitchens, daughter, Krysta Kitchens Moore, and son, Ken Kitchens. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Tammy Kitchens Smith (Lewis), Punta Gorda, Fl. ; seven grandchildren, Daniel Dean, Toni Dean Brown, Krysta Dean Newsome, Callee Smith, John Smith, Colby Moore, and Hannah Moore; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Lynette Johnson, Harlem.

Pallbearers will be Edward I. Newsome, Matt Brown, Brandon Blocker, Calvain Newsome, John Smith, and Lannie Hightower. Friends may call at the Curtis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday night at the funeral home.

Curtis Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
