Obituary for Patricia “Patsy” McGann (nee) Robinson Patricia “Patsy” McGann (nee) Robinson, age 71, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 6, 2018 in her home in Tucson, Arizona. She was born March 29, 1947 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Tucson, to Minnie Jean and Carmen Daniel Robinson. She met the love of her life (Gerald McGann) when she was 15 years old at Johhny’s Drive-in.

The moved to Illinois and got married July 20, 1968 at St. Mary Magdalene in Joliet, IL. Family meant the world to Pat. The good Lord blessed her with two beautiful children who they adopted as babies from Catholic Charities (Kristy and Mandy) – to say they were her pride and joy would be an understatement.

She found her true calling as a mother. Pat was #1 room mom, lunch lady, chaperone and team mom for all her children’s events. She was known as “mom” to every child she encountered.

Pat was the cornerstone of her family, constantly spending hours on the telephone and sending cards constantly to everyone she loved. She is preceded in death by her mother (Minnie Jean Robinson), her father (Carmen Daniel Robinson, her brother (Robert Robinson and her sister (Barbara Robinson). She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Gerry “G.R.” McGann, her two daughters Kristy Garrett and Mandy Revisky; and her four treasured grandchildren, Matthew, Audrey, Clara and Grace; her brothers Skip “Robbie” Carpenter, Daniel “Sue” Robinson and Peggy “Martin” Baldnergro along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that a charitable donation be made in her honor at St. Jude’s Children’s hospital or a charity of your choice. The celebration of life will be held at the AMVETS post 770 at 3015 S. Kinney Rd. on Thursday, July 12th at 12:30 p.m., however family will be in attendance until 3:30 p.m. Another celebration will take place in Illinois at a later date, where she was also loved and treasured.
