Obituary for Patricia (Patty) Ann Landis June 2, 1956 – September 3, 2018 Patty was born in Marysville, CA, and graduated from Marysville High School in 1974. She was named Tomahawk Queen in her Senior year. Patty passed away on September 3, 2018, at home, after a long illness.

Patty was the 2nd of three children, the only daughter, born to Bill and Lorraine Landis. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lorraine Landis in 2009. She is survived by her father, Bill Landis, Administrator in the Marysville School District; brothers, Robert Landis and Edward Landis; nieces, Danielle Landis and Laci Landis; many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Patty is also survived by her beloved dogs, Diego and Dylan, Chocolate Labs. Patty was a very popular student in school, loved by many friends and teachers. She could light up a room with her sweet smile and giggly personality.

Patty loved her dogs, she always had a beloved dog by her side. She was a computer software guru, fixing every computer problem every family member ever had. Patty loved the mountains.

She never wanted to be very far away from her beloved Northern California mountains. Patty loved her music, often making a CD of favorite music as a gift from times past or times present. As an avid Giants baseball fan, she enjoyed watching every single game with her father.

She was a devoted caregiver for her father for several years, after the death of her mother. During her working years, Patty worked for Birdwell Construction and various other companies in the Sacramento area. She was a very friendly and giving person, always talked with people around her, initiating conversations and making new friends.

Patty was kind, encouraging and warm. She was loved by many and loved deeply in return. Her smile, bright eyes, sense of humor and unconditional love will be forever missed.

A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, September 14, 2018, 1:00 pm at the First Presbyterian Church in Marysville, CA.
