Obituary for Patricia Sue Workman (Milam) Patricia Sue Workman, 75 of Scarbro, passed away Tuesday January 1, 2019 at Plateau Medical Center following a long illness. Born October 25, 1943 in Carlisle, WV she was the daughter of the late James and Mary Bell Saunders Milam. Patricia was a former CNA at Plateau Medical Center for many years.

She was a member of St.s Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Oak Hill and was a doll-maker and seamstress. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Workman; three children, Patricia Lucille Workman, Russell Workman, Jr. and Kenneth Workman along with several brothers and sisters that were very dear to her. Survivors include four sisters, Emma Kelly and husband Dennis of Scarbro, Elizabeth Humphrey and husband Noble of Oak Hill, Butterfly Arthur of Oak Hill and Linda Newcomb of Virginia, three brothers, John Milam and wife Donna of Scarbro, Dennis Sparks of VA and Junior Sparks of Drennen, WV, four grandchildren, Richard Workman and Robert Kinsler, both of North Carolina and Krystal Lantz and Kimberly Workman, both of Virginia, special nephew, Mason Edward Jackson of Scarbro and a special sister-in-law, Thelma Workman of Fayetteville plus several beloved nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Friday Jan. 4, 2019 at High Lawn Funeral Home in Oak Hill. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday Jan.

5th at Day Star Worship Center in Kilsythe, WV with Pastor Larry Humphrey officiating.
