Obituary for Mr. Patrick Edgar Mauldin Patrick Edgar Mauldin of Jacksonville, Florida peacefully passed away June 11, 2018 surrounded by family. The son of Ruth and Cornelius Mauldin, Pat was born in Orlando, Florida on July 31, 1941. Pat was raised in Jacksonville, FL and enlisted in the United States Air Force.

After honorable discharge from the Air Force as a sergeant, Pat returned to Jacksonville and began a career with Tom Nehl Truck Company as a mechanic’s assistant and concluded his service to the company as its vice president. He served his coworkers, customers and friends for over 50 years at Tom Nehl. Pat was a proud Master Mason at the Wesconnett Lodge #297 of the Free and Accepted Masons.

Pat will be remembered and cherished by his family and friends for his direct nature, his willingness to sacrifice, and his love for others. His brothers, Richard Mauldin and Howard Mauldin, preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Betty Mauldin, his son, William Mauldin (Lesley), brother, Jack Mauldin (Harriet), sister, Nina Coleman, sister in law, Dorothy Mauldin, and two grandchildren Calvin Mauldin and Lindsey Mauldin.

A memorial visitation and luncheon will be held at Epping Forest Yacht Club at 1830 Epping Forest Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32217 on Saturday, June 16, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers and donations, the family asks that you share a special memory of Pat with them. Please text or email William your thoughts or use the stationary provided at the visitation. A graveside inurnment with full military honors will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 22, 2018 at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218.
