Patrick Leo Freiburger Patrick Leo Freiburger, age 73, of Jackson, TN is in the care of Medina Funeral Home. The funeral service will take place 3:30pm Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Englewood Baptist Church in Jackson, TN with visitation beforehand 2:30-3:30pm. Pat was born February 14, 1945 in Detroit, MI and departed this life July 23, 2018 in Jackson, TN.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carla Freiburger; great grandson, Mathew Ness; and parents, Robert & Sue Freiburger. Captain Freiberger began his career with Jackson Fire Department in July of 1977, he spent most of his career at Fire Station #5, specializing in high angle rescue and confined space. After 32 years, 11 months, 3 weeks, and 4 days he retired as Captain on Tower 5A.

He is survived by his son, Billy Freiburger; daughter, Patricia (Jimmy) Mealer; sister, Sandra Quick; granddaughters, Kayla (Eric) Cole & Karrie (Danny) Harber; great-grandsons, Kayden Cole, Noah Cole, & Rowan Cole; fiance’, Laverne McIver Key; and pet companion, Sheba.
