PATRICK’s Obituary James Patrick Miffleton of Richmond, 68, died March 28, 2019. He was the son of the late John and Gertrude Miffleton. His family called him “Pat” but to his friends and colleagues he was “Spiffo”.

Pat was a restaurateur and wine expert, well known in the Richmond area. He loved to entertain friends and to extol the wines of Virginia. Easygoing and affable, Pat was a true Virginia gentleman.

He suffered a debilitating stroke in 2000. Since then his patience, perseverance and good humor have inspired all who loved him and cared for him. He is survived by his sister, Mary Sue Lehmann of Miami, Florida, his brother, Jack Miffleton of San Francisco, California, a niece, nephews and many cousins.

No services or viewing will be held at his request. Burial will be private. Memorial donations may be made to the Richmond Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (www.

richmondspca.org).
