ROUTSON, Patrick Michael Jr, age 23, of Kettering, passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2018. Patrick was born on March 16, 1995, in Troy, OH, to Patrick and Aimee (Merritt) Routson. He was very proud to be a graduate of Fairmont’s class of 2014 and Fairmont Industries.

Patrick’s outgoing, kind, and compassionate nature, as well as his strong sense of humor brought many close friends into his life. Some of his favorite pastimes included playing video games, watching movies, playing card games, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family. Patrick will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Patrick is preceded in death by his father Patrick Routson Sr. and his grandfather Tom Routson. He is survived by his mother, Aimee Young; step-father Rob Young; brothers, James Young and Andrew Routson; sisters, Olivia Routson and Savannah Young; grandparents, Barbara Routson, Nanette and Wayne Dezarn, and Jerry and Debra Merritt; aunt and godmother, Jolaine Routson; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends within the community. Family will greet friends from 10-11am on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd, Kettering, with a service to follow.

Burial at David’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton in Patrick’s name. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. David Franz of Cincinnati Childrens Hospital Neurology Department, numerous nurses at Hospice of Dayton and home health aides for all their kind and compassionate care.
