Obituary of Patrick Reilly Mr. Patrick “Mickey” Reilly of Glen Spey, NY and Deerfield Beach, FL died unexpectedly on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Broward Health North Hospital, Deerfield Beach, FL. He was 66. He was born January 25, 1952 in Port Jervis, NY the son of the late Thomas J. Reilly and the late Anne Luckey Reilly.

Mickey was a retired Reading Teacher at the Monticello Middle School in Monticello, NY. He was a member of the NY State Teachers Association and was a Florida Panthers Hockey Club Fan. He was an avid fan of the NY Jets, the NY Yankees and the Florida Panthers.

A family statement read: “Mickey was the best son, brother, and uncle that anyone could wish for. His sense or humor and quick wit was unmatched. His laugh was very contagious.

Mickey especially loved Christmas and was always the life of the party. He never ceased to make others smile. He taught all his nieces and nephews his love of reading.

Mickey will be forever loved and missed”. Surviving are his two sisters: Maureen Siemers and her husband, Bill of Milford, PA and Robin Obermeyer and her husband, David of Montgomery, NY; his nieces and nephews: Jennifer Kowal and her husband, Richard and their children, Rachel and Travis; Mark Siemers and his wife, Bobbie and their children, Benjamin and Breanna; Maria Obermeyer; Daniel Obermeyer; Anthony Trochiano and his wife, Danielle and their children: Jack, Thomas and Lydia; aunts and uncle: Marion “Honey” Quinn; Merville Jenks and Kathleen Luckey, all of Port Jervis, NY; also several cousins, friends and extended family. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at the Gray-Parker Funeral Home, Inc., 100 East Main Street, Port Jervis, NY 12771.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 9, 2019 with a 8:30 a.m. prayer at the funeral home and a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph’s R.C. Church, 307 Ave. F., Matamoras, PA with Rev. Joseph Manarchuck officiating.

Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Port Jervis, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army Needy Fund, 99 Ball Street, Port Jervis, NY 12771. Funeral arrangements are by the Gray-Parker Funeral Home, Inc., 845.
