Patrina Abbate, age 92 of Madison Heights passed away January 13, 2019 at St. Anthony’s Nursing Care Center in Warren. She was born August 20, 1926 in Detroit to Guissipi and Petronella Palazzolo. Beloved wife of the late Frank Abbate.

Loving mother of Anthony Abbate, Sarah (Jerry) Spehar, Lena (Jay) Dupell, and the late Joseph Abbate. Dear grandmother of Kristina, Toni, Eric, Nicholas, Robert, Jason, Jerry, Alexandra, and Nico, and great grandmother of Cameron James, Cristian, Noah, Brayden, Madelyn, Alexis, Jazzlyn, Cameron Joseph, Jayden, and Elijah. She is also survived by her brother, Joseph (Genevieve) Palazzolo.

She was preceded in death by her other 4 brothers. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 16, 2019, from 3-9pm, and Thursday, January 17, 2019, from 10am until the time of funeral service at 11am, at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, Madison Heights (1 block North of 13 Mile Road, West side of John R. Road). Burial will be in White Chapel Cemetery in Troy.
